Mango Yoghurt Bites

If you’re someone who loves having a little something sweet after dinner but doesn’t want to reach for ultra-processed snacks, these Mango Yoghurt Bites are the perfect solution.

They’re creamy, chocolatey, naturally sweet and incredibly easy to make. In fact, they only require four simple ingredients and about five minutes of preparation before the freezer does the rest of the work.

What I love most about recipes like this is that they tick all the boxes, they feel indulgent, but they’re also nourishing and balanced. The natural sweetness of mango pairs perfectly with creamy Greek yoghurt and rich dark chocolate, creating a frozen treat that feels special without being complicated.

And the best part? These are the kinds of simple, practical recipes I include inside my monthly meal plans in the Mood Boost Membership.

Because healthy eating doesn’t need to be difficult or time consuming, it just needs to be realistic.

Why This Recipe Works

This recipe is a great example of balanced nourishment.

  • Mango provides natural sweetness along with fibre and vitamin C.

  • Greek yoghurt adds protein and creaminess, helping keep you satisfied.

  • Dark chocolate brings richness and antioxidants.

  • Coconut (optional) adds texture and flavour.

Together, they create a snack that feels like a treat but still supports stable energy and balanced blood sugar.

Mango Yoghurt Bites

Ingredients

1 whole mango, diced
1 small punnet Greek yoghurt
100 g dark chocolate, melted
Optional: dried coconut to sprinkle

Method

Dice the mango into small pieces and add to a bowl.

Add the Greek yoghurt and gently mix until the mango pieces are well coated.

Line a baking tray with baking paper and spoon tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto the tray.

Drizzle a small amount of melted dark chocolate over each bite and sprinkle with dried coconut if using.

Place the tray into the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until completely set.

Once frozen, store the bites in a container in the freezer and enjoy whenever you feel like a sweet treat.
