Magnesium Mood-Boosting Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder

  • 1 medjool date, pitted

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional, but adds a warm depth)

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • 1 tsp manuka honey (optional, for extra sweetness and gut support)

  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1 capsule magnesium glycinate (open and use powder only)

Method

  1. Add all ingredients into a small saucepan over low-medium heat.

  2. Warm gently, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through and the date is soft (about 5–7 minutes).

  3. Transfer to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

  4. Pour into your favourite mug, sip slowly, and enjoy!
