RECIPE: HEALTHY GARLIC & PARMESAN POTATO GEMS!


Check out these delicious Garlic & Parmesan Potato Gems that I made using my Carisma potatoes from Mitolo family farms which is a 100% family owned and operated company right here in Australia!

This recipe is so easy to make and are sure to be a family favourite!


Here is what you will need:

INGREDIENTS:

1kg Carisma Potatoes

2 tbsp spelt flour

50gm butter, melted

1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese

2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1/2 tsp oregano, dried

1 tsp sea salt flakes

1 tsp cracked pepper

METHOD:

Prep-heat 200degrees fan forced and line a large baking tray with baking paper. Place potatoes into a large saucepan and cover with water. Cover and bring to the boil. Boil for 10minutes. Drain and set aside to cool until cool enough to peel.


Remove and discard all the skins and coarsely grate. Add into a mixing bowl. Add the flour, butter, parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano and S&P. Mix well to combine.


Using a tablespoon amount of mixture roll into balls and press into an oval shape. Place onto a tray (optional to spray with a little olive oil). Bake for 10 minutes, turn and bake for further 10 minutes or until golden and crisp.
